The 53-year-old actor got the honor of knighthood from King Charles on Tuesday morning (June 2) at Windsor Castle in Windsor, England.

Idris received the honor thanks to his services to young people. For those who don’t know, he founded the Elba Hope Foundation in 2022 with his wife Sabrina, who was also present at the event.

The Elba Hope Foundation invests in actionable solutions focused on empowerment through education, economic opportunity, and entrepreneurship. We aim to offer alternatives to reliance on aid, emphasizing the creation of opportunities and the reshaping of narratives to unlock the potential for growth, social mobility and empowerment.

The Royal Family shared a photo from the event and Idris reposted it to his Instagram Stories.

“We are thankful. The work continues,” Idris wrote with a heart, tagging Sabrina and the foundation.

This is Idris‘ second time seeing the King in just a matter of weeks. He recently attended a garden party at Buckingham Palace amid his work with the King’s Trust.

If you didn’t know, Idris was able to attend the National Youth Music Theatre when he was 18 thanks to a grant from The Prince’s Trust, the charity’s former name.

Idris‘ movie Masters of the Universe will hit theaters on Friday and he was not present at the New York premiere on Monday night along with the rest of the cast.

It feels like this was a good reason to miss it though!

Steven Spielberg calls the movie “closer to fact than fiction”

In an interview with Extra, Steven talked about making another alien movie after big hits with E.T. and Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

“Well, I think it’s a departure from both E.T. and Close Encounters of the Third Kind, which could both fall into the fantasy category, or into what I call science speculation with Close Encounters as opposed to just pure sci-fi,” Steven said. “But I got very, very interested in this subject when people who were in the know – people in the Air Force, Navy pilots, people in Congress – when they all started talking about this after the New York Times in 2017 leaked the Tic Tac footage that we’ve all heard about and seen.”

Steven added, “I got really interested in this not as a science fiction film, but as a kind of summation for me as a filmmaker in this genre that includes both of the aforementioned films. And so I took this subject very seriously because it’s something that I think is closer to fact than fiction.”

Paramount Pictures also shared an official synopsis for the highly anticipated sequel.

“Twenty-six years after outrunning a suspiciously familiar masked killer (“Ghostface”), the Core Four are back in the killer’s crosshairs and no horror movie IP is safe. Marlon Wayans (“Shorty”), Shawn Wayans (“Ray”), Anna Faris (“Cindy”), and Regina Hall (“Brenda”) reunite in Scary Movie alongside returning favorites and fresh faces to slash through reboots, remakes, requels, prequels, sequels, spin-offs, elevated horror, origin stories, anything with the word legacy in it, and every ‘final chapter’ that absolutely isn’t final. Nothing is sacred. No trope survives. Every line gets crossed. The Wayans are back to cancel the Cancel Culture.”

The film marks the long-awaited return of several fan-favorite characters, with Regina Hall joining Anna Faris, Marlon Wayans, and Shawn Wayans for another round of horror-comedy chaos.

This year’s Peabody winners were selected by a jury made up of 28 jurors, awarding programs in fields that include entertainment, documentary, news, podcast/radio, arts, children’s and youth, immersive and interactive media, and public service programming.

34 winners were chosen out of nominees, with over 1,000 entries in all categories.

The Heated Rivalry co-stars were in attendance as nominees and recipients, while the show was also up for an additional award, after sweeping the Scripted Television Awards ceremony the night before.

Also stepping out were their co-stars Robbie GK, Nadine Bhabha and Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova, as well as creator, writer and director Jacob Tierney, producer Brendan Brady and “Heated Rivalry” author Rachel Reid with husband Matt. Hudson‘s parents and girlfriend Katelyn Larson also joined him!

Harrison Browne, who played Connors, one of Ilya Rozanov’s teammates in season one, was also in attendance, though not pictured here.

Meanwhile, in Los Angeles that same night, Francois Arnaud stepped out for the 2026 Peabody Awards ceremony, where he hit the stage to accept Heated Rivalry‘s honor, alongside Bell Media executive Rachel Goldstein-Couto.

At the Canadian Screen Awards, Heated Rivalry won Best Drama Series and the fan-voted Cogeco Fund Audience Choice award, while Hudson picked up the Best Lead Performer, Drama Series award, marking his first major award win!

During his acceptance speech, Hudson, in Dolce&Gabbana, thanked the Heated Rivalry crew, Crave, his parents and girlfriend, as well as co-star Connor Storrie, who was not in attendance, as he’s currently in Atlanta filming his upcoming movie Turpentine.

Hudson thanked his parents for being supportive, thanked his partner for keeping him stable, and his last shoutout was for Connor, where he mentioned his “yearning bottom eyes” comments from social media.

“If I could cut this award down the middle I would because if these gay, yearning, little bottom eyes didn’t have a big sexy Russian to feast upon, my performance wouldn’t be as good. To the honorary Canadian Connor Storrie, I share this award with you,” the actor said.

Heated Rivalry‘s cast and crew had a clean sweep at the Canadian Screen Awards this year, winning every single award they were nominated for!

Sophie Nelisse also received a special award during the ceremony, the Radius Award, which was presented to her by Hudson.

The hot couple stepped out on the carpet at the 2026 MOCA Gala held at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA on Saturday (May 30) in Los Angeles.

The only other time that the couple has posed for photos together at an event was at Gladiator II screening in October 2024, though it wasn’t on a red carpet.

Minka Kelly and Dan Reynolds have been together since late 2022

For those who don’t know, Minka and Dan were first linked as a couple in November 2022, just months after he revealed his split from longtime wife Aja Volkman.

In an interview from July 2024, Dan revealed that he and Minka were introduced by a mutual friend, but didn’t get to meet in-person for several weeks because she was working in the UK.

At the time, Dan ended up sending her some of his music he was working on, and in exchange, Minka decided to send him passages and drafts of her memoir, “Tell Me Everything,” which included lots of details about her love life, tension on the Friday Night Lights set, and more.

When asked by People if she was an “easy woman to love,” Keanu gave a big “Yes!”

The couple also dished on how their love has changed.

“That’s a big question,” Alexandra said. “I would say that all painting is autobiographical, even though maybe even in abstraction it doesn’t look like there’s a big narrative, but I would definitely say that my paintings become happier.”

Keanu added, “I don’t know if it has.”

This year’s swimsuit show will actually be available to stream in a couple of weeks, starting on Tuesday, June 9th on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.

Also spotted strutting their stuff included Dancing With the Stars pros Britt Stewart and Emma Slater, who put on a performance alongside Jenna Johnson, Hailey Bills and Val Chmerkovskiy, Stassi Schroeder, and Maura Higgins, who will compete on DWTS later this year.

At the end of the show, Olympian Ilona Maher was seen running off the runway and jumping into the water!

Matt and Fraser first confirmed they were a couple during 2025 BravoCon in Las Vegas.

During the Bravo event weekend, Fraser was hospitalized due to a heart attack caused by vape poisoning. He praised Matt for being by his side while he was in the hospital.

They have since shown each other off on social media, including during a trip to Thailand earlier this year. Matt flew out to meet up with Fraser for a little vacation after he finished filming the upcoming 13th season of Below Deck in the country.

“It was rugged, and I didn’t know how rugged it was going to be,” she told Variety. “I remember after the first week or so, I went into the trailer with my makeup and hair people, and I sat them down and said, ‘OK, guys, we’re camping. And it’s OK, we’re going to take care of each other!’ So we all just sort of rolled up our sleeves.”

“Montana is so beautiful that you’re willing to weather the extreme environment,” Michelle added. “It was such a blessing to see those remarkable sunrises in the morning on my way to work, and the sunsets on the way home. And I fell in love with my The Madison family.”

The 21-year-old actor received the Breakthrough Performance Award at the Critics Choice Association’s 3rd Annual Celebration of LGBTQ+ Cinema & Television, held at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on Friday (May 29).

Noah was recognized for his work in the acclaimed final season of Netflix’s Stranger Things, with the Critics Choice Association noting that the role gave him “the platform to deliver a compelling portrayal of coming out in the 1980s as a young adult.”

The award was presented by Variety Senior Artisans Editor Jazz Tangcay.

During his acceptance speech, Noah reflected on the parallels between his own life and the journey of his character, Will Byers.

The actor shared that he “didn’t realize how much Will Byers’ journey had been preparing him for his own experience coming out at 18.”

“The vulnerability, the fear of how people perceive you, the desperate hope that the people you love will still see you the same way — I lived all of that very publicly, and I got through it because of my friends and family, who have loved me through all of it. That support means everything,” Noah said.

Noah publicly came out in January 2023 through a TikTok video in which he confirmed his sexuality to fans for the first time.

The actor also posed for photos alongside openly gay stars Dan Levy and Clea DuVall. Dan was honored with the Vanguard Award for his work on the Netflix series Big Mistakes.

The recognition comes amid an exciting year for Noah. Earlier this month, he celebrated his graduation from the University of Pennsylvania with family and recently reunited with several of his Stranger Things co-stars at a Netflix FYSEE Event!

The Grammy-winning artist and MAC Cosmetics Global Brand Ambassador attended a TikTok Shop live activation in London on Friday (May 29), just ahead of her performance at The O2.

The partnership centers around the new MAC x Doja Cat Gorgeous Nude Kit, a limited-edition collection that the “Paint the Town Red” singer helped create.

According to TheIndustry.Beauty, MAC launched a 12-hour livestream on TikTok Shop from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., marking the brand’s first global ambassador-led activation on the platform. The event was broadcast live from the store in central London.

Doja traveled across the city to take part in the activation, stopping to greet fans and participate in makeup demonstrations throughout the day.

“MAC consistently creates unmissable live beauty moments, and this collaboration with Doja Cat is set to bring fans even closer to the artistry, energy and excitement behind the brand,” said Emily Caine, Head of Beauty at TikTok.

For the event, Doja embraced a punk-inspired look featuring an oversized Union Jack corset and matching skirt. She completed the outfit with an “I heart NY” baseball cap while riding one of London’s iconic double-decker buses through the city.

The appearance marks the latest chapter in Doja‘s ongoing partnership with MAC as she continues to expand her influence beyond music and into the beauty world.
