Randall plays FBI Special Agent, Edwin Park, who is a “federal agent assigned to work alongside Detective Cordelia Cupp on the night of the State Dinner. Park is skeptical of Cupp’s unique investigative style. He’s our Watson.”

EP Alex Kurtzman said that the new show will answer “who are the captains before they become captains, and what happens when they don’t become captains.”

Production is set to begin next month on the series, which will “introduces viewers to a young group of cadets who come together to pursue a common dream of hope and optimism. The new season of Star Trek: Discovery premieres on Paramount+ on November 18th.

I wanted to be part of that representation for a new era.”
